形態特徵

• Subshrubs.
• Leaves ovate, 6–12×3–8 cm, thick, petiole 1.5–3.6 cm long, base somewhat truncate.
• Heads 2.5–3 cm across; peduncle thick, 4–8 cm long; ray florets 14 or 15; disc florets 45–70 per head.
• <i>Wedelia biflora</i> var. <i>ryukyuensis</i> differs from the typical variety in having larger heads with more ray and disc florets and larger leaf blade with a longer petiole. While <i>W. biflora</i> var. <i>biflora</i> is a diploid with 2n = 30, Koyama (1995) reported that <i>W. biflora</i> var. <i>ryukyuensis</i> is a triploid with 2n = 45 in Japan.
